Platform for
rainforest projects
Interested parties, donors, investors and volunteers will find extensive opportunities to get involved with various organizations for the rainforest on the website. In addition, people can obtain personal and free advice on projects through Dunkelgrün, making a real commitment more likely. The network of contacts grows over time and more projects are added to the platform.
In addition to associations, eco-entrepreneurship (sustainable entrepreneurship) in the rainforest is also presented, which is of particular interest to investors and corporate cooperations.
Own projects
Dunkelgrün is developing its own projects in Colombia and Peru with local partners. These will initially be supported on a donation basis until a financially independent concept is implemented. Dunkelgrün plans to purchase rainforest areas itself and implement reforestation projects.
Building a long-term perspective based on rising prices and compensation payments for CO₂ emission certificates and sustainable products.
Education, knowledge and blog posts
In order to mobilize more actors and resources for the preservation of the rainforest, Dunkelgrün has an educational mission. Publications and current blog posts as well as in-depth courses are shared on the website. This not only increases understanding and interest in the rainforest, but also further develops the Dunkelgrün brand.
It is important to develop information materials ("help for self-help") for NPOs so that, in the best case scenario, they can use the increasing financial resources for climate and biodiversity on their own.
